Change your words. Change your life.

I know you understand by now that the new song “Good For Me” was built on Proverbs 18:21 “Death and Life are in the power of the tongue and they that love it will eat the fruit thereof…”  Well, one of the things that has been impressed upon me in digging into is that scripture - is that most of the time when we are thinking about this, we are thinking about it from the standpoint of manifesting things into our lives.  What keeps coming up in my spirit is how careful we need to be with the words we speak about ourselves.  Oftentimes when speak to ourselves it is in a negative light.  I have been the first one to call myself an “idiot” when I make a mistake that I should NEVER make.  When I do something that I have no business doing, my first inclination is to say something negative to chastise myself.  This may not seem like a big deal, but every time I do that, I am giving life to the negative, I'm giving strength to darkness.  The truth is that whenever I do that, I am speaking against all the things that God says about me.  I'm arguing with God about who and what he says I am.  The Bible says this in Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?  A more HORRIFYING truth is this what this implies… if I'm not agreeing with God, then I'm not walking with him!!!!  Change your words. Change your life.
